Coby Adkins has 25 years in the banking industry and has pioneered lending guidelines and risk strategy within the bourbon industry. He has led over $90MM in bourbon or bourbon related transactions and was a panel speaker at the James B. Beam Institute on debt financing. He has ongoing relationships with multiple non-distilling producers, 6 Kentucky distillers and 7 whiskey brokers.

Sam Rock grew up in Woodford County, Kentucky, attended Washington & Lee University, in Virginia, and the University of Kentucky College of Law. Sam is one of the founders and was the first distiller for Bluegrass Distillers. As a distiller and owner of a distillery, Sam appreciates the importance of the quality of raw spirits and how barrels impact the product. Having bootstrapped the distillery with personal finances, Sam understands that every dollar matters to craft distilleries and non-distiller producers. He uses his experience and tradecraft to assist distilleries and NDPs identify quality spirits, source barrels, and find ways to make the most of their finances.

Ben Franzini is an owner of Bluegrass Distillers and oversees their barrel sourcing, acquisition, product development, and long-term planning. Ben was born and raised in Morehead, KY and attended the University of Kentucky to study Engineering. He is a Systems Engineer and entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in the aerospace, software, and hospitality industries.
